Aerospace and defense
AI automation agency for aerospace and defense
We build aerospace and defense automation for tier suppliers, machine shops, MRO providers and defense contractors whose quality, supply chain and proposal teams are buried in records. Workflows handle first article reports, NCRs, supplier certifications and RFQ packages inside your own environment, designed around ITAR, AS9100 and CMMC requirements your team already manages.

Quick answer
How can AI automation help an aerospace or defense supplier?
AI automation helps aerospace and defense suppliers by drafting AS9102 first article reports from inspection data, routing NCRs and CAPAs, tracking supplier certifications and summarizing RFQ packages for estimators. Workflows run inside your approved environment, such as GCC High, so ITAR and CUI handling follows rules your security team sets.
- FAI drafts are built from inspection data, and inspectors still review and sign
- NCRs, MRB dispositions and CAPAs are routed and tracked without email chasing
- ITAR data and CUI stay in environments your security team approves
- We never claim AS9100, ITAR or CMMC compliance on your behalf
01
Where aerospace suppliers and MROs lose time
Aerospace work is traceable by design. Every part carries a trail of material certs, inspection data, approvals and sign-offs, and customers and auditors expect to see it quickly. That trail is usually assembled by people copying data between the ERP, the QMS and spreadsheets.
Quality managers, buyers and program managers tell us these tasks take the most time:
- AS9102 first article inspection reports built by hand from drawings, balloon numbers and CMM results
- Nonconformance reports, MRB dispositions and corrective actions chased across email
- Supplier approval, flow-down of customer requirements and certification expiry tracking
- Material certs and certificates of conformance matched to lots and work orders
- RFQ and proposal packages: reading customer terms, DFARS clauses and drawings, then pricing
- MRO work packages, 8130-3 or EASA Form 1 paperwork and records for each component

What we automate in aerospace quality and supply chain
For manufacturers, the focus is usually quality records and supplier management: building FAI drafts from inspection data, routing NCRs through review and disposition, tracking CAPA due dates and keeping an approved supplier list with scorecards on quality and on-time delivery.
For MRO shops, it is work packages and turnaround time: reading incoming component paperwork, opening work orders, tracking parts and producing release documents for an inspector to sign. Defense contractors often start with proposal support and contract data, because RFQ volume grows faster than the estimating team.
WHAT WE BUILD
What we automate for aerospace & defense
Typical automations, each scoped and quoted at a fixed price after a free review.
FAI report drafting
Characteristics from the ballooned drawing and CMM or inspection results are combined into AS9102 form drafts for a quality inspector to verify and sign.
NCR and MRB routing
Nonconformances logged on the floor open a record, notify engineering and quality, track MRB disposition and trigger a CAPA when the pattern repeats.
Supplier certification tracking
Supplier AS9100, Nadcap and other approvals are tracked with expiry alerts, and scorecards on quality escapes and on-time delivery update monthly.
Cert and CoC matching
Material certs and certificates of conformance received from suppliers are read, matched to the PO and lot, and checked against required specifications.
RFQ package summary
Incoming RFQs are read by an AI step that lists parts, quantities, dates, special processes and flagged clauses into a structured bid sheet for estimators.
MRO work package intake
Inbound component paperwork is read, a work order is opened in your MRO system and parts and documents are tracked through to release.
Quality metrics dashboard
NCR counts, escapes, CAPA aging, FAI status and supplier on-time delivery are pulled from the ERP and QMS into one Power BI view.
03
AI agents for proposals and quality documentation
AI is useful wherever a person reads long documents to pull out a few facts. A model can read an RFQ package and its terms, list quantities, delivery dates, special processes, quality clauses and flow-downs, and highlight DFARS or customer clauses your contracts team has flagged before. Estimators start with a structured summary instead of a stack of PDFs.
In quality, AI can draft NCR descriptions from inspection notes, suggest likely root-cause categories from past NCRs and pre-fill FAI forms from inspection results. Every disposition, sign-off and release stays with qualified people. Where controlled technical data is involved, models run only in environments your security team approves.

ITAR, AS9100 and CMMC: how we handle them
Export-controlled technical data and controlled unclassified information need careful handling. We scope each project with your empowered official and IT lead so ITAR data, CUI and the systems that hold it stay in your environment, such as a Microsoft 365 GCC High or Azure Government tenant where you use one. We agree up front which data our team may and may not access, and we design automations that run without exposing controlled drawings or specs.
Your AS9100 QMS and CMMC or NIST SP 800-171 obligations remain yours. Automations follow your document control, change control and record retention procedures and keep audit trails on quality records. We do not provide legal or export-control advice and never claim certification or compliance on our behalf.

Aerospace and defense software we connect
On the ERP side we work with SAP S/4HANA, Epicor, Infor SyteLine, DELMIAworks, Plex and Deltek Costpoint for government contract accounting. For PLM and drawings, Siemens Teamcenter and PTC Windchill are common, and quality systems include ETQ Reliance, MasterControl and Net-Inspect for FAI and supplier quality.
MRO providers often run AMOS, TRAX or Ramco. Supplier collaboration may run through SAP Ariba or Exostar. We connect these with SharePoint, ServiceNow or Power Apps for internal tools and Power BI for dashboards on NCR trends, supplier performance, FAI status and proposal pipeline.

How an aerospace automation project works and what it costs
We start with a free review covering the workflow, the systems involved and the data classification rules that apply. You get a fixed-price quote, a timeline, a data handling plan for your security review and a first stage that can be tested on non-controlled or sample data before going live.
A focused workflow, such as NCR routing or supplier cert tracking, typically takes 1 to 3 weeks. Projects that link the ERP, QMS and PLM with dashboards typically take 4 to 8 weeks, shipped in stages. You own all accounts, workflows and code.

FAQ
AI automation for Aerospace & Defense questions
Can AI automation be used with ITAR-controlled data?
It can, with careful design. Controlled data stays in environments your security team approves, such as GCC High, and access rules are agreed before work starts. Your empowered official decides what is acceptable. We do not give export-control advice.
How can aerospace suppliers automate AS9102 first article inspections?
Inspection results and ballooned characteristics can be combined into draft AS9102 forms automatically. A qualified inspector reviews, corrects and signs each report, so the human approval required by your QMS stays in place.
Does automation help with CMMC?
Automation does not make you CMMC compliant. We design workflows to respect your existing CUI boundary, access controls and audit logging, and document data flows for your assessment. Your compliance team owns the program.
Can AI help write defense proposals?
AI can read RFQs and solicitations, summarize requirements and clauses, and pre-fill bid sheets from past quotes. Pricing, technical approach and final responses remain with your estimators and contracts team.
Does this work with Deltek Costpoint or Epicor?
Usually. Costpoint, Epicor and most aerospace ERPs offer APIs, imports or database access. We confirm what your version and hosting allow during the free review.
What does aerospace and defense automation cost?
We give a fixed quote after a free review. A single workflow typically takes 1 to 3 weeks; multi-system projects typically take 4 to 8 weeks, delivered in stages.
